Cerny/American Wins Ten Radio Programming Awards

It was another great year for Cerny/American as we ventured into an emerging area of audio work. During the past year, Cerny/American Creative edited, sound designed, and audio finished nineteen episodes of “The Twilight Zone” Radio Dramas for The Falcon Picture Group. In addition, Cerny/American produced an original Romantic Comedy audio program “Two Nothing”. All told these programs earned ten national awards.

XM awarded The Twilight Zone Radio Dramas “The Nation Award” for Best Theatre of the Mind on XM’s Sonic Theatre.

AFTRA's highest and most prestigious honor, "The American Scene Award," was awarded to the Twilight Zone for excellence in programing. JoBe Cerny accepted the award in Philadelphia before AFTRA's National Convention.

Four MILLENNIUM AWARDS

A Gold Millennium was given to JoBe Cerny and Carl Amari for direction of The Twilight Zone episode The Gift. The episode starred Grossman/Jack’s Danny Goldring and Sandra Marquez and members of the Latino Ensemble.

A Silver Millennium Award was given to the Cerny/American audio engineering staff, Bob Benson, Michael Slaboch, Craig Lee, and Matt Sauro, for Best Sound Design for The Twilight Zone episode, A Quality of Mercy.

A Silver Millennium Award for Audio Programming was given to Cerny/American for “Two Nothing”.

A Bronze Millennium Award for Audio Programming was given for The Twilight Zone episode, Long Distance Call.
