Cerny/American and Buttons Form Partnership

In an effort to encourage commercial work between Chicago and New York, Cerny/Amercan Creative and Buttons Sound in New York, have created a mutually beneficial relationship. Both studios do a lot of 3D2 digital patches so we decided to work together and created a discounted rate to stimulate business between the two cities.

Cerny/American is in the heart of Chicago’s Michigan Avenue’s Advertising area and Buttons is centrally located near Times Square in New York. Since both studios are conveniently located for clients and talent alike, it made sense to create a special rate to make our studios the preferred choice for 3D2 digital patches for our clients in both cities.

Rich Macar is the head sound designer for Buttons. Buttons has three recording studios and mixing suites. Cerny/American and Buttons are looking forward to working on many projects together in the future. In addition to studio services, the two studios will also utilize each other’s creative services. Both studios will service casting assignments, making the best talent from Chicago and New York easily accessible for our clients.

Our first joint venture was a great success. We reintroduced “Snausages” brand to radio audiences for its advertising agency Think 360 of New York. JoBe Cerny wrote the scripts for both radio and the web. Both studios worked on casting, JoBe Cerny directed the commercial, and Rich Macar produced and sound designed the commercial. The end result was a very happy client and a commercial we hope will win many awards for both studios next year!
